Turbo training starts at 7pm on the 25th October at the University of Worcester.
Turbo is a great way of keeping your cycling legs and lungs turning over the winter months whilst improving technique, endurance, strength and lactate tolerance. Sessions run in a progressive programme through until Spring 12. Since you ride at your own pace, its easy to accommodate riders of all abilities. No one is left behind!
The first session will be ideal introduction for anyone one who is new to, or curious about turbo training, with help and advice on things such as:
How to set up your bike and trainer properly
Training heart rate zones and effort levels
A chance to checkout a variety of different turbos
It will of course include a workout, with some different efforts and drills to improve technique. The club has several trainers available for members to use.
Please see the triclub website for more information.
