ROBOCAP - Charity Bicycle Rides

Join ROBOCAP for our AUTUMN GOLD Fundraiser

Bringing Robotic Cancer Surgery to the 3 Shires of Hereford,

Gloucester and South Worcester.

A date for you diary, Sunday 18 September 2011, Autumn Gold Sponsored

Bicycle Rides to raise funds for our Three Shires Robotic Cancer Surgery

Appeal, and is suitable for all categories of bicycle riders (Families,

Pleasure Riders, Club Cyclists, in fact anyone who enjoys cycling)

The event, based at Pershore, Worcestershire, starts at 10.00hrs and is to be

staged over various circuits of 20, 40, or 60 miles on the quiet country lanes in

that area. The event HQ is at the Pershore High School Pavilion, where there is

good parking, changing facilities, showers and secure storage for clothing.

Our aim is to attract bicycle riders to spend the day raising funds for our charity

appeal. Registration will cost £10.00 per rider and each rider will be encouraged

to obtain sponsorship of £50 or more in total.

The money collected can be increased by asking individual sponsors to agree to

us claiming Gift Aid on their donation, providing they are Taxpayers and agree to

us taking their home address and postcode. (We cannot claim back on company

donations)

You and your family can register to take part by contacting David Sparrey on

davidsparrey@aol.com when you will receive route details, registration forms

and sponsor forms for your use when signing up supporters for your ride.

Alternatively you can write to David Sparrey, 10a High Street, Ledbury,

Herefordshire, HR8 1DS

Enjoy a day out on your bicycle in lovely rural settings around Bredon Hill in

gently undulating countryside, suitable for all the family. The various circuits will

be fully signed and marshalled, with professional First Aider cover and

refreshment stations.

Every finisher will receive a certificate and all entrants will receive a cycling

related goody bag.

The top fundraiser will be awarded a Special Prize.
