BRAND NEW 2010 SPECIALIZED LANGSTER SINGLE SPEED ROAD BIKE SIZE 58 FOR SALE (bought 28/10/10)
Just bought this brand new to train on the roads and race on our Stourport circuit track in the summer. All my road bikes are a 58cm and so with this in mind I went for the 58cm. Realised that track frame angles are slightly steeper and so it is about 25cm too short. Pearson cycles only have 56cm or 58cm size bikes available, so I can't even swop it for a 61cm frame. Thats the size I really need. Go to their web site or their link on e-bay and they are selling them for £359 plus £15 delivery making a total price of £375. (This is the cheepest price you will find on the internet in the UK right now. This bike is exactly the same spec as on the Specialized web page and as the ones Pearson Cycles are selling. Alloy frame, carbon forks, front and rear brakes, aero rims, specialized slick tyres, spec drop bars, 110 stem, track cranks 170mm long arms, flip flop rear hub with 16" fixed racing gear and freewheel hub etc. You only use three gears on our circuit, so why not just be hassle free and use one gear. those were my thoughts anyway. Excellent training bike through the winter. Easy to clean and maintain. It comes with pedals (only basic ones) but with your own clip in peddles and a set of lights and Wednesday and Friday evenings on the circuit will be a cheap way to get supper fit for the 2011 season. Races are won in the winter someone told me. As a guide I am 6" 2 1/2' and its just a bit too small. It would suit someone who is 5" 7' to 6" 1'. I have chimps arms so it feels cramped in the ****pit for me. Could be used on the indoor track or even on the Halesowen outdoor track if you removed the brakes. A really good looking bike.
