Another great turn out for the WNTB ! I didn't count but there was perhaps 15 riders? Circuit was Ideal, dry and quiet. First lap was steady to warm up and check corners/obstacles. Second lap, after a confusing start the speed rose,it was at this point that Dawn unluckily had a puncture, but a couple of guys stopped with her to sort it out, joining back in later. On the third lap we were joined by the Bird Brothers and the pace went up,at this point some riders were starting to feel the pinch and the second group naturally formed. From what I could tell everyone enjoyed themselves? Any suggestions from riders would be appreciated. One special mention goes to Holly Page, who with grit and determination glued herself to the back of the fast group throughout, and would not be dislodged. I will post later with next weeks circuit.
Just a couple of things to watch for (bearing in mind not everyone who turns up may be familiar with the local roads):
- buses on the road up to Wadborough, - shouldn't cause too many problems, but just need to be aware that it is a bus route and road narrows in places - Murphy's Law states that you will only ever meet a bus on a narrow section!
- left turn after Wadborough, towards Stoulton, - has recently been quite potholed and very often plenty of gravel about. May now be resurfaced, but steady first time around, just in case.
- level crossing before Wadborough, - should go without saying, but as the group approaches, if there is a warning siren audible, full commitment required from all to STOP!!
Hope to be there this Wednesday.

The next WNTB on 4/8/10 will be on the Wadborough circuit details below. Meeting up outside the st peters garden center at 19.00 It would be good if we could get some more riders along especially in the "not so fast" goup,Although you can start in which ever group and move to one thats more suited if needs be. Dont forget clip a rear light on as we will be finishing about 20.30
