Just done 4 hrs on the open road cos its so warm today only wore a pair of shorts in the cleats super glude to the soles of my feet. Also had to put ice cubes in the bidon for good measure. Roll on winter so I can have a few days off when the weather gets bad.  eyepopping.gif

I must put a claim in for this hard rider qualification.

I turn the raditator off in the kitchen and got the rollers out.16C
I did however drink only cold water (i almost warmed it up)

1h 15min on the Rollers. 1h 30min planned. Well it took 15min to balance the beer belly.

An hour and a half on the turbo today (Sun), yes still in the garage (still at least -5), but opened the chest freezer as well just to keep Snowball happy!!! worship.gifworship.gif

Now I'm watching Dancing on Ice as well, just to show how much cold a real tough rider can take!!!!!!   teevee.gif

Sorry Rob, is that your official claim to be a hard rider, as opposed to slightly floppy (bunny)?

Yep, as hard a rider as I'll ever be!!  winner.gif

Of course if I had a mountain bike I would be joining you on Sunday, but........sleep.gif

You'll find that most club members stay at home in bad weather (especially the ones who can go out anytime the weather is nice, unlike those who have to work)
Last Wednesday in the freezing drizzle only JD and me turned up at the bridge. JD went home after 10 miles.
A few weeks ago it started raining after 1/2 hour and the rest of the club went home, I carried on and did 60 miles.
So today I went out at 8 am, up Jennet Tree lane over the Wyche to Colwall and back. Couldn't ride along Jubilee drive.
If there are any other hard riders in the club, perhaps we ought to have an earlier start for an 'all weather ride'? Alternatively join me on the Kidderminster rides, they don't wimp out.
What do people think?

Think there might have been one other that carried on and did over 50 miles that day (if that is the day to which you refer?) Mr Staines worship.gif wink

As for Snowball suggesting the rest of us have (S)no balls, then suggest he gets himself a job if he has the time and can go out to play on Wednesday mornings and then resort to turbo training in a garage at -6 degrees like the rest of working poulation!!! steaming.gif furious steaming.gif

Ah, I feel better now................!!!

Ooooops, should have logged in first!!
