RE: New Club Kit

Decision from last nights committee meeting on kit:

The bulk order for shirts, shorts, arm warmers and mitts is to go to Endura. Individual kit (and the much wider range) can be ordered from Impsport by individuals directly. Both are quality British manufacturers and have the same club designs.

Hi Dan, Have you placed the bulk order? I've sent a couple of e-mails to your address as given in newsletter not sure if you have received them as had no reply. Want to make sure my order is included as I assume there is a discount for a bulk order? Cheers Adrian

Imsport have just stated "We now have all the colours matched correctly. Your members can now start ordering clothing."

So order away, planning to do bulk order within next 2 months ready for next years season (takes 8-12 weeks delivery).

Any questions/queries please email me.

Have sent a shirt to Impsport to enable them to match the colours and graphics of the  Velotex kit (last years St John's), if you wish to order kit that matches last years please wait for confirmation before placing your order ... I will let you know (on the forum) when I have received a response.

Currently in talks with 6 more suppliers and seeking confirmation from Impsport that the colours on their kit match our current suppliers (sending in a current shirt as proof).

Hoping to get shirt prices down to the £30 mark (think this is attainable and acceptable in the current climate Carvarlo are quoting £25 +VAT & Carriage & Owayo are quoting £34.83 + Carriage)

Will
keep you updated ... started to receive requests for kit, suggest you send over a want list to my email address in the newsletter and I will let you know the prices when I have an approved supplier.

Hi, Do you want the order e-mailed to you direct? How do you want paying?

To get the club discount do we need to have a minimum order quantity, if so when do you think the club order would be placed?

Cheers
Adrian

New kit is from Impsport (not Velotex as previous kit).

Sizes are here:
http://www.impsport.com/direct/images/stories/clothingsizes.jpg

Fabric details here:
http://www.impsport.com/direct/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6&Itemid=10

At present (working on Impsport for more) they have confirmed that we will get a 10% discount off the club order, so at present please email me details of what you require to get the extra discount and save on carriage.

Hi Ed
I'm over in Canada at the moment matey but in answer to your question Yes Dan Jones is now the man for any orders of kit.In regards to Overshoes and mitts there would have to be quite an order of them to get a good price and i cannot remember what the min qty was but it was a lot.

Hope all is well in the UK

The roads out here are great, nice and smooth very long and no end in site pretty flat aswell hardly any traffic in comparison to worcester.

Unfortunately i will be unable to carry on organising the club kit. As there is now not enough time for me to place an order pay for it and wait for it to arrive.I have just sold my house (subject to contract) which means i will be going to Canada as planned in August. biggrin

So the club will now need someone to organise and order kit from the supplier Velotex in South Africa. All the ground work has been done by me and with one successful order carried out it is going to be rather an easy task for whoever takes the role on. No sorting out of suppliers, designs and colours etc etc etcconfuse to worry about. All they would have to do is get as many of each item as possible to get the best price, must be willing to pay for it all via Credit Card(safest option) preferably a VISA/Master card.get items delivered to your door and then distribute it among those who purchased it easy really.smile

Some interest has been shown but as of yet no one has actually placed an order. So if anyone wants the job contact me for the suppliers details and i will go through the process with you..biggrin

I have had word back from Velotex today regarding kit.it's looking like we need orders of at least 10 items of each product to get a fairly good price
10 x Bibshorts
10 x shorts
10 x Short sleeve jerseys
10 x Long  sleeve jerseys
etc etc etc
Upon getting a decent sized order they will quote it up before we commit to buying it..

if any one wants kit then let me know as soon as,Worcester Jersey and Short Storyboard 20-06-08.jpg please, the quicker it gets ordered the quicker it arrives

Anyone interested ???????

I have been asked by a couple of club members about possibly ordering some club kit,This time i will be going direct to the manufacturer in South Africa Velotex as last time a third party slowed things up a bit. However if there are any of you who would like to order club kit please get in touch. But Remember the more we have the cheaper it becomes. This time it is purely going to be done on a private order basis i.e no club funding.I will in the mean time get an up to date Price list of whets on offer and see what the minimum order per item will be.Below is the size chart.

Size Guide for new club kit double check your size's
the sooner we all say yes the sooner we get it.

GARMENT SIZING MODEL: MENS
