RE: club rides

Thankyou for your reply. Sounds good to me. I work a two shift system 7am to 3pm this week/ 3pm to 11pm next. I am also working this Sunday 3pm-8.30pm. So I hope I can fit in a ride this Sunday, once I have got involved I believe there will be no stopping me.

Keith, you'd be far from the oldest on either ride probably.
Both rides are strictly sociable rides, not training bashes, stopping at a cafe halfway.
Thing to do is to come along on a ride and try it. If you find the pace too fast there's usually people who are peeling off early to get home for other engagements who will shepherd you home. Or try Karen & maureen's ride from the Bell - give them a ring beforehand.

My daughter and I joined which seems like ages ago now and as yet we have not involved ourselves in the clubs activities. So better late than never, would my age (60) be against me to join in the Sun/Wed rides when available. My daughter would also like to join in on the occasions she is home from Uni.
