well if Ron is still a member, well done and congratulations... If not even with my slower time the record still goes..... Mainly down to Steve Price with his 52minute ride.... Incredible!
Ron Clews was mentioned as a Wyre forest rider. first outing on the 21st July warwickshire road club 25. The report was in the Shuttle (local stourport paper).

In the Echelon 10 on Saturday the club team record and juvenile 10 record were broken. Steve Price 20.38, Simon Garrett 21. 56 (?) and Dan Staines 23.15 Total 1.5.49 Dan's 23.15 beats Toby Moody's 23.36 from 30 years ago
In the Echelon 25 on Sunday the outright 25 record went to event winner Steve Price in 52.09 beating John Patston's 52.15 in 1981 I think the team 25 record went as well with Steve Price, Simon Garrett 56 something and Dave Preece or Ron Clews doing a 58 something. All to be ratified when the official results are released.
