Ed, I was thinking just the same. Clifton Bank would be a great view point, bit of a nasty descent into Tenbury, then a great climb up to Clee Hill, then across the common to Cleobury Mortimer and head north. I guess Bridgenorth again because the lanes are too small to try another route. Could go down to Ludlow and then B4364 is undulating, maybe head off through Ditton Priors to Much Wenlock?
I would like some help from local cyclists with a small route finding project. A major cycling event is very likely to be returning to Worcester this year (to be confirmed) after a sucessful day last September - I think you know what I'm talking about
Anyway, I am looking into routes that such an event could take from Worcester in the general direction of Ironbridge. As this isn't the final destination (I can't say any more) , it needs to be a fairly straight run, whilst taking in some significant climbs and towns (ideally including Tenbury) .
So, ideas please for a challenging route you'd like to see the worlds best riders on.
