Left Worcester at 8 am headed into the hills with Kidderminster CTC and soon got out above the mist. It was lovely and sunny up there, Highly, Buttonoak, Cleobury & Clows Top. Got 65 miles in and only had to walk over icy bits once. When I dropped back from Gt Witley it just got cold and misty again as I got to Worcester. So next time head for the hills!
Apologies to John wheeler, havent made bridge for last few weeks and didnt get message until today, not been upto it or weather has hampered me. Will see you boxing day, when i will ride, be it slowly! Will make new year rides, promise!
Myself and a few other St Johns riders have been going out at 8am on a Sunday to enable us to get home earlier. We are now meeting at bridge at 8 unless weather is really wet. We go at a decent pace but not too rapid! Often sprint for village signs but thats about all. Rides are for about 3 hours but sometimes a bit longer. If anyone wants to come along then just turn up at bridge for about 5 to 8 as we leave bridge at 8.
