RE: Penny farthing racing pictures

Dave,
I assume you've had no trouble riding through the pifling 2 foot floods in Hylton Road?
Could be good PR to take a photo or two on the penny in the floods - wear the St Johns jersey please

Hi, at the moment I don't have a fixed bike so if you have something I could borrow for a few weeks, or maybe even buy, give me a call at work in the week on 01905 453460 or at home on 01905 352425, that would be great, many thanks, Dave...

Vince, thanks for your congratulations! I must admit I was pretty pleased with the wins, not sure if my debut at Halesowen track will bring such great success, but you never know! Ed, as for riding a penny farthing, it's actually quite easy. Stoping in a hurry, now that's something altogether different!

Talking to a chap I met last night and started talking about cycling and he brought up about "the chap who rides the penny farthing and how does he ride it?"!

Hi, on sunday I raced the penny farthing in the Much Wenlock Olympics. I won two races and got a second in the third. Check out the blog if you're interested, http://pennyfarthingmadness.blogspot.com/ For now here are a couple of photos, let me know what you think of the outfit....
