Gerry, Peddlers in Barbourne used to have a tandem for hire - my wife & I first hired one from there before we bought one.
www.tandeming.co.uk in Ironbridge have about 20 different sorts. They also hire out, with the incentive that if you purchase the hire fee is knocked off the price.

I'm trying to persuade my wife, Mo, to take part in a longish ride next summer.

She  might consider a tandem - "maybe". But she needs to know she's compatible with me ( on the tandem, that is).

If there's a tandem lying forlorn, unused and needs a bit of exercise, we'll be glad to give it a try.
