Went round the course this afternoon, they have dug up a section of the road by about the 8 mile marker for about 300 yards. The paver was being loaded and they had multiple vehicles waiting so looks like they may finish tonight! Not sure if once finished the may do the other side!! They had manual signals only so hence my thought they aim to get it done today...
Signs say works starting 8/8/11. So guess it will . And on the basis that there are nice painting markers highlighting all pot holes(many) all the way from powick to the right turn over common to Malvern think it will be lucky if it's poss to race on Tuesday
