Gents, thanks for the replies. I was there last week at Stourport and did most of the WNTB rides last year. Will have a chat about it with you this Wednesday. Thanks again, Richard.
To be honest the best bet is for you to go along and watch a few,you will then see whether its some thing you might fancy. The same goes for anyone else who might be interested. The only thing I would say is that anybody contemplating it should learn some high speed group riding skills like what is practised on our WNTB,this is for your own safety and the safety of others
Nice one Tony, another positive step forward for the club!!
If any club members have not been to the circuit at Stourport yet, get down there next Wednesday night!! Perfect smooth tarmac with no potholes and no cars and great for improving your bike handling and cornering techniques.
For Those of you who dont know the stjohns are promoting a race evening at the Stourport cycle circuit. It is one evening in a series of seven evenings spread over two months, and makes up a regional league.Other local clubs and cycle shops are promoting the remaining evenings.
Although I appreciate that it is clashes with our hilly club TT I could do with a few stjohns members to help out. Not the guys who would normally support our club TT's,but the ones who dont normally ride/marshall in the hilly 14.5.
The venue is fantastic as you will know if you have been over there and I can guarentee an evening of quality racing for you to watch. There will be a 4/3 cat race and an elite,1st 2nd. in total the evening will only take up 3 hours of your time.
please get in touch with me on 07884 003564 if you would like to be a part of it.
