Never ceases to amaze me how others see fit to knock the success of others and fail to recognise what it takes to acheive it.....!!!!
It wasn't so long ago that John didn't even know if riding his bike was going to be possible, that has involved overcoming more obstacles, both physically and mentally, than most of us experience in a lifetime - call that LUCK??
Celebrate John's success for goodness sake, it doesn't matter if you win alone, win out of a group or win a bunch sprint the requirement is the same - be first over the line - that in itself doesn't come easy and involves taking chances when they present themselves!!
Recognise don't Critisise!!

The club members who are saying that Johns win at Pinvin need to be aware of a few facts. John has been riding 250 + miles a week since October along with turbo sessions at work during his dinner break. He has also adapted his rising style to get over the problems with his shoulder after a bad accident over 4 years ago. During the race he was active on the front all race and made numerous attacks. On the last lap with over half a lap to go he rode off the front and won by almost a full minute. I was in the race and it was very impresive. If you call that lucky?well???? If you are one of the guilty ones you need to apologise to him. The win was well deserved after all the hard training put in over the last months.
