Just look up the entries on these races and most of the ones im able to do on a 4th cat license anyway - so no worries (can take my time to get the glory points!) mind you if your in a race the aim is to win.
so now looks like ill aim to do
27th March - got sevale open 10tt day before 5th May - Astley 19th June - day after our open 28m tt on same circuit 26th June- Derby 7th August- Astley Not sure about others - think wife may have already sorted holidays- Therr above are def on circuits that i train on and like. (maybe not derby although i did like the circuit last year)
ill meet up with you guys for a training ride one day if you let me know when your out.
I'll see if i join you guys in the higher cat races - If i get a pass out on sunday ill head down to bridgend to do the 4th cat circuit race with an aim to get some decent points to upgrade - ive entered the race on the 27th at Corley again 3rd and 4th cat. so target is to get license upgraded by April to 3rd cat. from looking at the race dates i'll do a few inbetween my target open tts (would like to do the Derby Mercury race) see you guys out some time maybe.
It would be good to try and get as many of us as possible to ride some of these races. I won this series in 2009 and Echelon also won the team prize so I would like to win it again and it would be great to put the Worcester St Johns name back at the top again. I know Halesowen CC won it last year overall but they've lost a couple of their big point scorers from last year so the title could be ours for the taking!!
I've already entered the Bill Jinks RR and my entry for the Paramount RR on April 10th will be sent off this week. I should be riding the whole series and of course our own Gerry Hughes Memorial RR will be an important race and definitely a target for ANY ONE OF US to win!!

This year's West Midlands Road Race League for 2/3/4 cats opens on 27 March with the Bill Jink's Memorial Road Race promoted by the Royal Sutton CC at Filongley.
With more events this year, riders from the region's clubs and teams will have plenty of opportunities to score points towards individual and team rankings. The individual winner will receive £50 and the team £100 and, thanks to Veloplus, there will be a leader's jersey for the leading rider to wear at each race.
There have been a couple of changes to the League rules:
- the number of riders from a club able to score points for the team award in each race is limited to five - non West Midlands clubs promoting races within the region are eligible for membership of the league
