well done the council workers, councillors and public who supported this mini-project. What shall we campaign for next? (We've already got Diglis bridge) How about, filling in a few of the potholes my car tax, income tax, community charge and VAT contribute towards? Actually a new project could be tarmacing the bridleway to Elgar's birthplace to give us a traffic free exit into the countryside
Well road wear can be worked out by. using the fourth power of axle weights. to cut through the Maths A car creates approx 10,000 times more road wear than Cyclist.
Road tax was abolished in 1937 and replaced with car tax which applies as much to the highways as VAT on a Mars bar.
Anyway just about all the cyclists in the club already pay the tax as they have a car. So by cycling we just give up the privilige of filling Car park, Burning the world up, Costing the NHS money.
Here we go again. Pedal tax what next. Can anyone tell me waht damage a bicycle can do to a tarmac road cos it beats me???????? Check out the cameras on the eaves of W......er Co....e filming the path/cycle track sad or what
