Fun? not really, the seniors got pulled out when they got lapped so my race was over after 35 minutes. Had the senior field been told of this in advance I would guess lots of us wouldn't have entered. Of the 60 down to start only 15 managed not to get lapped... 60 * £10 = £600, 15 * £10= £150... I wonder if that's why we were not told in advance and only informed when on the start line with our cheques cashed and safely in the bank... oh, I'm so cynical!... but probably right..
