Steve, no problem. There should be a few coming along - some of my MTB mates. It would be good to try and get something going. I know the sevail have tried on tuesday nights but I dont know how successfull that is. It does help though to keep the interest going over the winter,a bit like riding the cross!
Hi Tony, might join you.. We tried to organise off road evening rides the last 2 winters but few takers.... When the weather is pants you need company and encouragement.. Better make sure my lights are charged up.. Steve.
Just to let interested parties know that I shall be organising a mountain bike ride over the Malvern hills on Wednesday 9th September. The assembly point will be in the car park of the Chase Inn on the colwall side of the wych cutting (post ride drink/food available!). Start time will be 7.0 pm prompt so be there around 6.45. The ride will take approx 1hr 30mins and will be quick over testing terrain. I am afraid at this point it will not be suitable for beginners. Lights will be required and mobile phones are advised, although no one will be left behind or allowed to be "dropped" If this is successful I shall run them regularly through out the winter as an off road training session. With the possibility of the venue changing to the bredons and wyre forest. All riders are welcome whether club members or not. For more details you can phone me, Tony Horton on 07884 003564
