Thanks to all those who did their bit, organising, marshalling, supporting, etc. I really enjoyed my race, even the uphill bits on my single speed, I might look into gearing it down a touch in the future though!

There are some results on the west midlands league web site, with lap splits, which is a really nice touch. The cross races I have done in the past you have been lucky if all of your laps were counted so big thank you to all the lap counters!

Still don't know how Dave managed to go so well on One gear! especially on the Hill.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped out today.
I think it was a successfull event and we managed to break even, after BC fees, payment for the venue and prizes. biggrin

I have enough helpers for the course set up on the sat, but i'm struggling for marshals on the sunday.the first race is at 10:15 so if you could get there about 9;30 so i can show you the course and areas that need marshaling it would be great.

Fantastic! Only problem is I am away at a motorbike rally that weekend.... If not too hung over to get back I will race though. If there is anything that needs doing after the racing I can help with that. Or if there is anything that I can do before I go away on the friday let me know.

The Club are organising a CYCLO CROSS race on The 20th September @ top barn farm http://www.topbarn.co.uk/htm/contact.htm
It will be round 2 of the WMCCL (http://www.wmccl.co.uk/).
If you can spare the time come along and help out with marshaling etc,  or have a go !
