you can loan one through the County Council cycle loan scheme: (tandems are available)

there is one FOR SALE in Stoke Prior!
   Details of tandem:-

 
Wheel size 26" - new alloys -  2 new Kevlar tyres
6-speed Shimano SIS gears
Seat tube size (front and rear) 2.5cm
2 new helmets - 1 ladies and 1 gents
2 new rear panniers
Rear prop stand (LHS)
New Shimano V- brakes
New alloy mudguards
 
Machine is in full working order and is ready to ride away.

Hi,
does anyone out there have a tandem I could borrow for a weekend?
My girlfriend and I were thinking of buying one but to be honest we would like to see if its for us before we comit.
We are both medium size so should fit anything.
