Been there done that.
In fact there will be a Staines Family team at MBM 2009


There's no clash of dates either.

If anybody fancies raising £2400 sponsorship money there's a 24 hour race on the Top Gear circuit in 2009 aswell.

Well the last 24 hour we entered was cancelled - anyone up for a French version?

24-hour cycling race around the world famous Le Mans circuit in northern France.

Between 2,000 and 3,000 riders are expected to take to the start line of the 24 Heures Velo to compete around the 4.1km Le Mans Bugatti, the shorter version of the circuit used in the Le Mans 24 Hour motor race.

Divided into singles, pairs, or teams of four, six and eight, each team will be ranked according to the longest distance ridden in what looks set to become of France's most popular sportive events.
