I have built a trailer out of some scrap bike bits and wheel etc, it is strong enough to carry a petrol mower and gardening tools.... simple bracket design etc, looks nasty but works well. You can have a look at it if you fancy building your own. Took me about a day to get the bits and construct it. Cost.... a few nuts and bolts, screws etc. A broken frame, 2 old road bike forks plus wheels and a couple of bits of angle iron or the like. Steve.
EBay is your best bet you'll probably get some good deals this time of year. I've used a trailgator connects any two bikes together and separates quickly if you wanna ride on you own
