I can't understand why nobody was at the bridge at 9.30 am to join me on a ride to Saintbury. Got there, saw lots of soggy cyclists including Dave keeping warm in his car, had a few cups of tea and a few cakes and pedalled home.

 but FAR muchy more fun than a club run! was brilliant,everyone seemed to seize the moment and carry on regardless,really chuffed so many turned up,it made my year,THANKYOU!

ive pencilled in another 2 stage event in 2010,meanwhile to keep you ticking over,do the midflands spoco next year,loads of the events are in your neck of the woods- watch the midalnds website at the begininh of 2009

Nice day for a hill climb... I'll fully understand if no body comes over to watch.. It's hammering down!

I'm back.. pretty much as expected, I got soaked and soundly beaten. Big thank you to Martin for CYCLING over to cheer me on!

Just got the start sheets for the climbs of Dovers and Saintbury.. Looks like I'm the only one from Worcester St Johns who was daft enough to enter..

To make matters worse, starting 4 minutes behind me is National hill climb champion, James Dobbin...

Anyone fancy riding over to watch me being soundly beaten?

near Evesham, take the a44 towards broadway then left after wickhamford on th b4632 towards willersey. Saintbury is just after willersey, dovers at weston sub edge....

enter now and make the end of my season a roaring success but a healthy full field!its a one off event and rumoour has it Dovers will be used for the national hill climb in 2010
