RE: Midsummer night ride on Friday

Just got up and it's raining today. If you'd come on the ride last night you'd have had 75 miles of traffic free roads, mostly in the dry with virtually no wind. OK so we had to wake the all night cafe owner up to get our tea and beans on toast but we weren't the only ones at the top of Midsummer's Hill to see the dawn.

I'm organising for the Worcester and Kidderminster CTC

Solstice Ride - Road Ride Friday 20th June
Start 8pm The Fox, Monkwood Green (between Hallow and Wichenford) for some light refreshment. Leaving The Fox at 9:30 pm for night ride to an all night café for food at midnight then meander back to see the sunrise from Midsummers hill on the Malverns. Home for bed by 7 am. Lights essential, must last about 6 hours. Probably need warm clothing for the early hours.
Call me if you have any queries.     Martin Staines Tel: 01905  457940
