Size Guide for new club kit double check your size's
the sooner we all say yes the sooner we get it.

GARMENT SIZING MODEL: MENS

  XS        -     Chest: 34/87cm     -   Hips: 32/81cm         -  Waist: 29/74cm S          -     Chest: 36/92cm     -   Hips: 36/92cm         -   Waist: 31/79cm M         -     Chest: 39/100cm   -   Hips: 38/97cm         -   Waist: 32/81cm L          -     Chest: 41/105cm   -   Hips: 41/102cm       -   Waist: 36/92cm XL        -     Chest: 43/110cm   -   Hips: 41/105cm       -   Waist: 39/100cm XXL      -     Chest: 46/117cm   -   Hips: 42/107cm       -   Waist: 42/107cm XXXL  -     Chest: 49/127cm   -   Hips: 43/110cm       -   Waist: 44/112cm The chest measurements refer to a measurement taken immediately below the arm-pits, with the subjects arms relaxed at his side, and the hips measurement relates to a measurement representing the widest aspect of the hips, and not the waist measurement.  The waist measurement relates to a regular waist measurement.

We wish to emphasize that these size measurements are approximate, and are to be used as a guideline only for a cycle jersey fit, i.e. on the skin but not tight and certainly not loose. Recreational cyclists preferring a more generous jersey fit need to specify a jersey size bigger than these measurements depicted. Herewith are our standard Womens measurements for future reference: XS        -     Bust: 28/70cm        -   Hips:  32/81cm           S          -     Bust: 32/82cm        -   Hips:  32/82cm           M         -     Bust: 34/87cm        -   Hips:  34/87cm           L          -     Bust: 36/92cm        -   Hips:  36/92cm           XL         -     Bust: 38/97cm        -   Hips:  38/97cm           XXL       -     Bust: 40/102cm      -   Hips: 40/102cm           The bust measurements refer to a measurement taken at the widest aspect of the bust, with the subjects arms relaxed at her side, and the hips measurement relates to a measurement representing the widest aspect of the hips, and not the waist measurement.

Calling all club members we need more orders for club kit.

At the moment we have the following
6 x bibshorts
4x shorts
6 x Skinsuits
10 x S/S jersey's
3 x L/S jersey's
1 x Bibtights

If we can get some more orders on top of this lot it will bring the prices down at the moment we are still getting quite high prices on this amount of kit so the more oreded the batter for everyone.

Thanks to the club commitee for offering to put some money down this will help wiht the order i will have to divide up the amount various items. I will have to keep a tight selection on size's i.e a couple of smalls and then a few more medium and large because we dont want to much stock being order that will not fit anyone.I think a good chunk should go towards gloves, caps etc etc.

The more direct orders we have for jersey's and shorts etc the less chance of surplus stock which doesn't fit anyone being left in a box in a shop and then being sold off for pence.

The quicker we can get a few more orders the sooner we can get this kit on our backs.

Spoken to a few different suppliers this week pretty much all pricing around the same bracket quality doe's vary a bit though.I am going over to see a possible supplier the end of next week if possible which sounds quite promising (not droping any names) but we just need more orders please.

stu

For all inquiries email me stuart.king10@btopenworld.com

At the moment the club kit orders are on hold until we can find a supplier who is not trying to rip us off.
The prices on the basis of the current order are as follows
S/S jersey £51.27
L/S jersey £51.27
Skinsuit    £81.71 with all the trimmings £14 on top
Bibshorts £43.54 with all the trimmings £14 on top
shorts     £36.38 with all the trimmings £14 on top
Bibtights £49.48 with all the trimming £14 on top
All these prices are + Vat aswell + carriage
These prices have been quoted to me by Kalas subject to only having an order of
6 x bibshorts
4x shorts
6 x Skinsuits
9 x S/S jersey's
3 x L/S jersey's
1 x Bibtights
If we could get an order of twenty items of each then the prices would be a lot cheaper. But i think it's fair to say goodbye to Kalas.
I am still in pursuit of a new supplier so please bare with me as this is not an easy task.
I will keep you informed of progress
Regards
Stu.

there is now a minimum order we have to meet in order to get good pricing terms at the moment we have an order for 6 jersey's 5 shorts including a skinsuit.I have been informed that if we could place an order of at least 4 more jersey's and 5 more shorts/bibshorts/skinsuits then the items will be given a decent price bracket.
If we can get in the region of 20 jersey's we should be looking to pay £45 per jersey + vat as i am now told.
This all seems to be turning into a rather expensive exercise compared to what i was originally quoted.I think Kalas are a good clothing company but tend to cater for the semi pro to pro teams and not a local cycle club (this is the impression i am getting).
So to all those who have placed an order bare with me whilst i try to sort this all out.
Will have to send the samples back soon aswell so if anyone wants to look at them before they go back you have 1 week from today.

Great if you could email through High Res Jpeg.

Had an email back from Kalas again today there gonna see about the web address but have said they would drop the WWW.s and they can see only one problem .SIZE. Like i said before it's only going to work when off the bike.

No Probs if you want some gear Kalas have said there expected turn around on clothing is going to be 7-8 weeks as it is now getting quite busy for them.

I'm just waiting for final proof and i shall put an order in best to make sure it's 100% correct.

P.S Take a shovel just in case............

I'll email a high resolution jpeg of the club badge tonight.

I'd like a couple of items - see you Tuesday or poss Sunday. (bit doubtful I'm doing the Elineth 300K on Saturday so will either be snowed in in Wales or totally knackered)

The website on club kit sounds like a good idea but really would only get seen when were stationary and it would have to be large enough for someone to read with ease.At events would be good but then a banner might be better more eye catching. But i will email Kalas and ask about getting it put on.

I asked Kalas about how long we could keep the samples for viewing and sizing etc etc the emailed me back and asked if i could return them in a couple of weeks or so.So if anyone does want to check out the quality of the gear it might be best to arrange a meet???.Also i have been sent some brochues with all the size charts in and details of the cycle clothing they produce.

Kalas have sent me a design proof of our club kit but are having trouble with our badge. The badge i sent in is not that good does anyone have a large image of the badge so they can transfer it on to our kit.The one i used was off the website but it is to small to get all the detail or the other option is not to put it on but it would be nice to get it on the kit.

Good idea for website on kit - as all riders are the best advert for the club - could help get new members?

Most of the committee agree in principle to using club money to subsidise and/or buy stock. The next committee meeting can decide how much the club contributes - it will need to know how many firm orders there are and the price of the items needed for stock. Sorry can't remember meeting date - May I think and usually a Monday.

What do folks think about putting the website address on the kit?

After speaking with Martin on Sunday i think the committee are ok with the prices etc etc,The quality of kit will be much improved so i think the committee would be happy.
