Hi have asked Kalas to give me a quote on their products in our club kit design once i hear back from them i will put prices up on message board........
If we can get enough members intrested in placing an order the more we might be able to barter the prices a bit.
This price was for shorts with all the bells & whistles - EVO pad (extra £10.55, but seriously worth every penny), flat seams (extra £1.62), Gore printing (extra £1.30) and Power Lycra (extra £6.09). Just the bib shorts with net straps and EVO pad comes out at £38.57, which is pretty competitive.

SO, I'm fat and slow, but you're ugly, I can change, can you?
These Impsport prices are pretty steep, we at Arctic-Premier RT (formerly Arctic Shorter Rochford RT) have just taken delivery of some kit from KALAS and the quality is superb - better than Giordana that we had last year - delivery superfast - they turned a part order around for us in 2 weeks so we could have our team launch (see Cycling Weekly over next couple of weeks) and the prices were significantly better than these of Impsport. I have dealt with Impsport, Endura (TAL), Biemme and Giordana over the years and KALAS have out performed all of them by a long way.
Kalas price to us was :- £31 + vat for a SS Jersey (3/4 zip, 3 colours) £48.39 + vat for Bibshorts (Evo Power Pad (no seams), flat seams, Power lycra (like Assos), 3 colours).
If you order enough he may also be able to apply some discounts too.
This is the kit supplier of the Swedish National Team so the quality is tried and tested and if you want to check out the quality then I have some you can look at. Was out at our team training weekend with Andrew from Kalas on Saturday and I said what you guys (and gals) were being quoted from Impsport and he said to get you to drop him a line and he would see what he could do for you -

Hope this helps? Regards Rob
The shorts are still a bit too pricey for me having to buy 2 pairs in one hit, especially as they will probably out grow them before the end of the year.
Looks like they'll be getting plain black this year.
Cheers Rob Someone else has recommended Kalas to me aswell so i will be contacting Kalas quite soon regarding our kit,to see what they can do once again cheers .

Right i'm online and fully registered.Regarding the club kit as i said before impsport sent me a quote.
Dear Stuart,
I notice you have artwork with us but the club has never actually placed an order! The artwork is from 2005 and the customer contact is Dave Jennings!
Of course you can order the clothing to the design held on file.
1009 Bibshorts with printed rear panel £48.00 per pair + VAT
1024 Short Sleeve Road Jersey 3/4 Zip £40.50 each + VAT
Please bear in mind there would be a small order surcharge of 20% before VAT if ordering under 6 items and a 10% surcharge if under 12.
regards
Brent
So if anyone wants to club together to make up an order by all means give us a shout with details of what you want and sizes(if not sure what size you want go to there website for size chart www.impsport.com). The More we can get together in one order the cheaper it might become, regards Stuart.
Contact me through forum or speak to me down at the bridge on sunday mornings
Tel: 01522 500505 Fax: 01522 500455 This is the latest kit they have they say, no minimum order but small order surcharges apply. If the kit artwork is correct and if no body has stepped up to the job of kit organiser then i don't mind if people want do contact me with there details of what they want jersey's,shorts, bibshorts, caps etc etc etc.Hopefully the more we get the cheaper it might be.
Fingers crossed my registration for this mesage board should be activated soon aswell.
What we need is a volunteer to take orders, organise buying, distributing and the money. There is a committee meeting at The Bell on Monday 21st Jan 7.30 pm. If you fancy organising the kit come along to the meeting.
I've just received a catalogue from Impsport. I think they are more expensive than the Portugal clothing, but they may be better quality. Impsport also have no minimum order quantity. Impsport have our new kit artwork (All paid for) If anybody would like to organise buying club kit next year I will give them the catalogue. Alternatively contact them direct to order your one off kit info@impsport.com
