Just a quick note to let everyone know I have gone and purchased a penny farthing! To anyone who is interested, its a Mesicek replica, 54" front wheel. I am thinking of making an appearance on it for the broadheath 5 in a couple of weeks. I will definatly ride it when the tour of brtain comes to Worcester. I did wonder about the low gear 19.5 but so far I have only managed to ride on footpaths to the pub and back.
