Hi folks

As you will know by now, the Tour of Britain is coming to Worcester. Stage 3 (Wed 12th Sep) sees the race start in Worcester for a tough 150km stage to Wolverhampton. Full route to be announced on 9th May, but its a tough one is all I can say at the moment

So, thinking caps on Worcester St Johns folk. How can you get involved in what we hope will be the first of many visits the race wil make to the County, and encourage more people to take up cycling and join the club?

Worcestershire County Council are organising a Cycling Festival around the race, with a weekend of activities in the planning for 8/9 September.

Ideas for guided rides (on or off -road, urban or countryside), cycling treasure hunts/orienteering, any thing goes really. We will help market any good ideas and give a cash payment to clubs for their part in the festival organisation. I'm sure some of you have attended cycling festivals around the country and picked up some good ideas already.
